Artist's Description

An empty school room during the lunch hour. The school is so short on desks that the children have to go to school in shifts. The children go home for lunch and some return afterwards to continue the day. The school principal told us the school needed 50 desks. My husband and I worked with our guide to purchase 7 desks that met the government's criteria. Our guide purchased 3 more. This was his primary school when he was a boy.
